John Thapa is the Founder and Director of Rhythm Music Classes, a trusted name in music education since 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, John has dedicated his career to training students with a strong musical foundation, practical performance skills, and a modern approach to learning music.

Along with running Rhythm Music Classes, John also worked as a Music Teacher in reputed schools, including Ryan International School and St. Francis High School (Rane Nagar & Tidke Colony) from 2006 to 2014, helping hundreds of students develop musical skills and confidence from an early age.

He is academically and professionally certified in music, having completed Government Music Exams from MSTB and AIVETC (State of Maharashtra & India). He has also passed Music Grade Exams from Trinity College of London and holds a Teacher Certificate from the College, reflecting his high standard of training and structured teaching methodology.

In addition to instrumental and vocal training, John has completed a Music Production Course from TSM, enabling students to explore not only performance but also the creative and technical side of music. His dedication and contribution to the field of music have been recognised with an Excellence Award from the Indian Federation of Music.

John is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and teaches a wide range of instruments, including:
Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Digital Drums, Acoustic Drums, Ukulele, Harmonica, Congo, Bongo, Djembe, and Clap Box.

Beyond teaching, John is also an active creative artist. He writes songs, composes original music, and sings, which helps students learn music in a more practical and inspiring way—whether their goal is to perform confidently, clear music grade exams, or become an independent musician.
